The series of 3 T20 matches between Pakistan and South Africa women’s cricket teams is starting from Friday in Karachi. After the T20 matches, both the teams will also compete in the ODI series.
The South African cricket team under the leadership of Lara Woolward will play a series in Pakistan for the first time. The first match of the series of three T20 matches will be held on Friday at the National Bank Cricket Arena for which both the teams have made extensive preparations.
Before the start of the series, Pakistan captain Nida Dar and South African captain Lara Woolward unveiled the trophy.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, Nida Dar said that every player in the team is important, South Africa is a tough opponent, but Pakistan has prepared for it.
Nida Dar said that the Pakistan Women’s team will show aggressiveness in the T20 series while meeting the requirements of modern day cricket because if the players go to the field with a positive mindset, the results will surely come.
On the other hand, the captain of the South African women’s team said that Pakistan is a good team and they have some players who can turn the tide of the match. Good matches are expected in the series.
He said that they will try to put Pakistan under pressure by making better use of the power play.
