Buenos Aires: A flight from Russia to Argentina carried 33 pregnant women, the surprising reason why they were flown to Argentina to give birth has been revealed.
According to the World News Agency, more than 5,000 pregnant women from Russia arrived in Argentina to give birth to their children in just a few months, because in this case the children get citizenship.
The growing trend of pregnant women from Russia coming to Argentina for citizenship of their children is because Argentina enjoys more basic rights, including freedom of expression, than Russia.
Generally, Russian pregnant women visiting Argentina tell the National Migration Agency that the reason for their visit is sightseeing, but the real reason is to obtain Argentine citizenship for the newborn.
It should be noted that according to the list of the strongest and weakest passports in the world, the holders of Argentine passports have the facility of free visa in 171 countries.
