According to the World News Agency, in this incident in Brazil, 31-year-old boy Jonathan Ribeiro died on the spot, while the 26-year-old girl was transferred to the hospital with serious injuries.
The car dragged the couple away. After seeing the CCTV footages, it is feared that the car rider deliberately crushed the couple. The driver was taken into custody.
Police say that the possibility of a deliberate crush cannot be ruled out, but preliminary investigation suggests that the accused was drunk and could not maintain control of the car due to high speed.
Police registered a case against the driver and started investigation.
