The hearing on PTI chairman’s request for suspension of sentence will be held again today in the Islamabad High Court.
Election Commission lawyer Amjad Pervez did not appear at the last hearing due to illness. The assistant counsel said that for the last eight months we did not ask for adjournment, the doctor suggested bed rest, my power of attorney is not in this case.
The court has also ordered the Election Commission to make an alternative arrangement today.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq remarked that what the trial court did was wrong.
