Javed Afridi, the head of PSL franchise Peshawar Zalmi, has offered a job to Sahib Khan, the hero of Mission Impossible, who is conducting a rescue operation in Pashto Alai area of Butgram district, and his partner.
Sharing a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Peshawar Zalmi chief Javed Afridi promised to employ Sahib Khan and his colleagues.
He shared the video of Sahib Khan performing the rescue operation and wrote in the caption, ‘Unbelievable bravery and self-belief, this is the best example of courage and bravery which is a lesson for all of us. I will be happy to provide both of them (Saheb Khan and his partner) with a job opportunity, along with a surprise award for both of them’.
It may be recalled that on August 22, the rope of a chairlift at Pashtu in Alai village of Bitgram broke, as a result of which 8 people, including 6 school children, were trapped at a height of 900 feet.
These children were going to their school by chairlift at 7 am when two of the three ropes of the lift broke and the chairlift got stuck at a height of about 900 feet.
However, Pakistan Army, rescue personnel and local people rescued all the people safely after a long struggle.
