Lahore: Chairman PTI Imran Khan challenged the anti-terrorism court’s decision to reject the bail applications in the Lahore High Court.
The former prime minister filed 7 petitions in the Lahore High Court through the mediation of lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar, in which ATC, Superintendent of Attock Jail and others have been made parties.
In the petitions filed in the High Court, it has been argued that Toshakhana should be in Attock Jail in the case. Being in jail is not in my power and control to appear in court. ATC did not properly assess the facts and canceled the guarantees.
Chairman PTI has requested through a petition that the Lahore High Court, Anti-Terrorism Court should annul the decision to dismiss the bail applications and order the ATC to re-hear all the applications.
It should be noted that Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf has challenged the decision of Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore High Court in 7 cases including the Jinnah House attack case. A 2-member bench of the Lahore High Court will hear the petitions of Chairman PTI today.
