In the second qualifier of the World International League T20, Gulf Giants beat MI Emirates by 4 wickets to reach the final. The final of the league will be played between Desert Vipers and Gulf Giants on Sunday.
In Qualifier 2 played in Dubai, MI Emirates scored 167 runs for 5 wickets while batting first, Kieron Pollard played an innings of 57 runs off 35 balls with 3 fours and 4 sixes.
Mohammad Wasim scored 31 runs and Nicholas Pooran scored 29 runs, Chris Jordan and David Vissa got two wickets each.
In response, the Gulf giants achieved the target at the loss of 6 wickets in the 19th over thanks to opener James Vince’s brilliant and unbeaten innings of 83 runs.
