Cricketers of Pakistan have condoled the death of famous poet, writer, playwright Amjad Islam Amjad.
Shoaib Akhtar, former player of the national team, in a message released on the social networking website Twitter, while issuing a condolence message on the death of Amjad Islam Amjad, said that Urdu poetry and Pakistan have suffered a great loss today.
Former Pakistan cricket team captain Muhammad Hafeez has also condoled the death of Amjad Islam Amjad.
It should be noted that famous poet, writer, playwright Amjad Islam Amjad passed away in Lahore.
His family has confirmed his death, he was 78 years old at the time of death.
According to the family, Amjad Islam Amjad died of a heart attack.
