Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has been banned for 2 matches for violating the International Cricket Council (ICC) code of conduct.
According to ICC, Indian women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has been banned from matches and fined 50% of the match fee.
ICC says that Harmanpreet Kaur violated the ICC Code of Conduct.
It should be noted that the Indian captain had objected to being dismissed in the last match of the series against Bangladesh.
Harmanpreet Kaur hit the wicket with the bat which uprooted the stumps, while on his way to the dressing room he was angry with the umpire.
Not only this, but Harmanpreet Kaur criticized the umpiring in the post-match interview.
The ICC says Harmanpreet breached Level 2 of the ICC Code of Conduct.
