Derbyshire have signed Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir for the 2024 season.
Mohammad Amir will be available as an overseas player for the first half of next season.
Mohammad Amir will play all group stage matches of Vitality Blast.
Derbyshire Head of Cricket Mickey Arthur has said that Mohammad Amir is the best bowler in the world, glad to have him back in Derbyshire.
He said that Mohammad Amir will lead all the bowlers in our red ball and T20 cricket, I know all his qualities.
He says that he hopes all Derbyshire fans will support Mohammad Amir.
Commenting on the deal, Mohammad Amir said, “My cricket experiences have been great with Mickey Arthur, always enjoyed the county championship and learned a lot.”
