Amir-e-Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq submitted his reply in the Supreme Court in the Panama Papers investigation case.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Sardar Tariq Masood asked the Jamaat-e-Islami lawyer to answer 9 questions.
The Supreme Court asked that under what conditions, purpose and reasons did Jamaat-e-Islami withdraw its application?
The court asked that this application was first filed by Jamaat-e-Islami.
Jamaat-e-Islami, while submitting its reply, said that the bench hearing the Panama case had said that if Jamaat-e-Islami’s case is heard, the verdict may take several years.
In response, it was said that the bench hearing the Panama case said we will hear the case of Nawaz Sharif first, the main focus of the bench was on the case of the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
