The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a flood alert in the districts of Sargodha, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Rajanpur and Rahim Yar Khan following the continuous rise in water level in the rivers of Punjab.

On the other hand, landslides have occurred at different places in Gilgit-Baltistan due to heavy rains.

Due to the closure of the Karakoram highway in Chilas, the passengers and tourists stuck in the vehicles are facing problems.

The road remains closed due to the collapse of a temporary bridge at Bolan, causing long queues of vehicles going to Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab.

After the continuous increase in the water level in the river Indus in Rajanpur, the migration of people from Kache to safer places is going on.
