There is good news for Alzheimer’s patients (forgetfulness and mental weakness) that the new drug Donanemab from the American pharmaceutical company is proving to be effective in the fight against Alzheimer’s.
After a global trial, it has been confirmed that this drug slows down the process of memory loss.
The new drug helps prevent the early stages of the disease by cleaning up proteins that build up in the brains of people with dementia.
Experts say that the drug is not a cure and that it works for Alzheimer’s disease but not for other types of dementia.
