Fault: Police seized oil and diesel worth Rs 33 crore during a grand operation against petrol hoarders across the district.
According to Express News, the police in Kasur district of Punjab have recovered oil and diesel worth Rs 33 crore during a grand operation against petrol hoarders. Actions were taken against the hoarders in Sadar Patuki and Sadar Pholangar areas.
Police teams recovered 1.3 lakh liters of oil and diesel from two depots and sealed 2 depots. Police teams also seized more than a dozen oil tankers.
On the other hand, DPO Kasur Tariq Aziz Sindhu has said that the accused hoarded oil as a result of the increase in the prices of petroleum products, so the hoarder who caused suffering to the citizens does not deserve any pardon, police complaint against the accused. Cases will be filed.
