The flood water has increased at Head Chenab in Multan which has started entering the beet areas.
Crops have been damaged due to infiltration of water into agricultural land covering several acres in the beet areas.
On the other hand, the flow of the Nallah dike at Kangra in Narowal has reduced by 1,100 cusecs to 660 cusecs, while the flow of water at Gujrat in Chenab river is normal.
According to the district administration, the flow of water in the rivers is being monitored regularly, all departments are mobilized to deal with any emergency.
Apart from this, the water level is gradually increasing at Head Islam within the boundaries of Wahari district, while the crops standing along the river belt in Jhang are under water.
