In Karachi, the police arrested the main accused who started rioting on Chapamarker Super Highway near Sohrab Goth and Al-Asif Square on a tip-off.
According to SP Sohrab Goth Sohail Faiz, the accused Rana Baloch had rioted on the Super Highway last year with the help of his colleagues, the accused fled to Afghanistan after the riot.
Sohail Faiz says that the accused Rana Baloch burnt the bus of Jinnah Sindh Medical University during the riot, the accused also burnt several vehicles during the riot.
According to the police, Rana Baloch is also involved in hoisting the flag of Afghanistan in and around the Super Highway. The arrested accused also belongs to PTM.
