In the Chakri Road area of Dhamyal police station of Rawalpindi, the brutal man along with three other accomplices raped the woman by pretending to make peace with her ex-husband by calling her daughter and preparing documents. After being subjected to torture for four days, the woman escaped and reached the police for help on the fifth day. The police registered a case and started investigation.
According to the police, Masmat Sh., while applying to the CPO Rawalpindi, took the stand that I am a resident of Tehsil Bahira, Poonch, some time ago I had a dispute with my husband over domestic issues, due to which I got divorced and went to Bahira. Submitted the documents because the divorce was done, after that my husband’s uncle shifted me to my grandmother’s house in Rawalpindi.
Meanwhile, a person named Malik Younis called me and said that I have found out that you are a Muslim and the person named Akhtarani who is a resident of Chakri Road has told me that you two are my children’s place and he also called me daughter. went to the court and said that the problem that you both have is taken from the court and also said that if you want to compromise then that will also be done and then sent my ex-husband back from the court and asked me to forbid me. However, he brought me home and said that my entire family lives in Chakri Road.
On the insistence of a man named Khatoon Akhtar, I went to his house, there he introduced me to his wife and children and fed me dinner and gave me a room to sleep where I locked the door and slept. After breakfast, I went back to the room, after an hour I went out to drink water because I was thirsty, and Malik Yunus was sitting alone in his house. He said why didn’t you tell me earlier that I was going back from here, so he sat me by the hand and did not let me move. He sexually assaulted me.
The woman said that the accused Akhtar was also taking drugs and then the next day he called three more people, one of whom was named Sharif Khan and the other two were unknown, two were young and one was around 40/45 years old. People took turns sexually assaulting me and this continued for four days. On the fifth day, I got a chance and barely got out of there. Jai police registered a case but none of the accused could be arrested.
