Pakistan women football team got Singapore visas, national women footballers will leave for Singapore on Saturday with a delay of 2 days.
The scheduled match on July 15 has been canceled with the mutual consent of both the federations.
Pakistan Women’s Football Team was supposed to play 2 matches in Singapore, but the delay in issuance of first NOC and then visa affected the schedule of departure of national women’s footballers to Singapore.
Pakistan Football Federation sources have confirmed that the national women’s footballers were issued visas on Friday evening, with the team expected to leave for Singapore on Saturday.
Due to the delayed departure, the teams of Pakistan and Singapore will not be able to play the scheduled training friendly game on July 15.
The match has been canceled by mutual consultation, both teams will play on July 18 as per International FIFA Friendly Game schedule.
The FIFA ranking of Pakistan Women’s team is 157 while Singapore’s ranking is 131. However, the players of Pakistan Women’s team are hopeful for good results in this friendly match.
Pakistan women team has played 6 international matches so far in the year 2023, out of which they got success in 2, one match was drawn and 3 were lost.
