Winning start for Pakistan Shaheens, 5 wickets by Shahnawaz

A five-wicket haul from Shahnawaz and Tayyab Tahir’s half-century helped Pakistan Shaheens move towards defending their title in the Emerging Asia Cup with a win.

Pakistan Shaheens defeated Nepal by 4 wickets in their first match played at the Colombo Cricket Club Ground on Friday.

Nepal won the toss and batted first and the entire team was bowled out for 179 runs in 37 overs.

Pakistan Shaheens achieved the target of 180 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 32.5 overs.
