The obstacles in the way of the Pakistan Women’s Football Team’s visit to Singapore have been removed. Ministry of External Affairs and Home Affairs has issued NOC to the team to go to Singapore.
It should be noted that the Pakistan women’s football team has to play two matches in Singapore this month.
The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) had earlier on July 7 excused itself from issuing the NOC to the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) citing time constraints.
However, after the protests of the fans and the efforts of Special Assistant Shaza Fatima, the PFF sent a summary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Interior on July 12, on which the NOC was issued to the football team the next day.
In this regard, Shaza Fatima says that the Prime Minister took special interest in this matter and made it possible to solve it as soon as possible.
Pakistan women’s football team will play matches against Singapore on July 15 and 18.
