A meeting is scheduled between Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Zaka Ashraf and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President and Secretary Indian Board Jay Shah today.

According to Indian media, the meeting between Zaka Ashraf and Jay Shah is scheduled on the sidelines of the International Cricket Council (ICC) meetings.

The ICC Chief Executive Meetings begin today in Durban.

After the issues of Asia Cup and World Cup, the top officials of Pakistan and India will come face to face for the first time.

Indian media say that Pakistan’s participation in the World Cup in India will be discussed in the meeting.

In the meeting, there may be a discussion on increasing the number of matches under the hybrid model of the Asia Cup and the venue of the matches in Sri Lanka will also be discussed.

Members of the Asian Cricket Council will also meet on the sidelines of the chief executives’ meetings.

The schedule of Asia Cup matches has not been announced yet.

It should be noted that Minister Inter-Provincial Coordination Committee Ehsan Mazari has talked about playing Pakistan’s World Cup matches at neutral venues.
