Usman Siddiq, a young survivor of the Yunnan boat accident, narrated the whole story.
Usman Siddique, who reached his home in Kaliki area of Gujarat, told Geo News about his escape.
Usman Siddiq, 28, said that he saved himself from drowning in the sea with the help of foam shoes and a wooden board.
He added that the Greek ship overturned the boat and sank and the passengers watched from afar.
The Pakistani youth also said that 700 people were on board the ill-fated boat, including 350 Pakistanis.
They said that they left Libya for Italy at dawn, we were told that they were in the borders of Italy.
Usman Siddiq said that on the 6th day at 2:30 a German ship came, gave water and left, our ship kept circling at the same place for 2 days.
He said that when the night came, the hopes were lost, the navy ship came at night, when they tried to attach the rope, the ship overturned.
The Pakistani youth said that he struggled for survival in the sea for 4 to 5 hours, I miraculously survived the accident, the rope-laying ship did not try to save him.
Usman Siddique, a police constable from Kaliki in Gujarat, left for Italy with four friends.
