Shandur Polo Festival Chitral has got its name.
Chitral defeated Gilgit-Baltistan by 7 goals to 5 in the final on the last day of Shandur Polo Festival.
The spokesperson of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Authority says that domestic and foreign tourists participated in the festival.
According to the spokesman, in the final match, various bands including Kailashi dance performed and paragliding was also performed brilliantly.
At the end of the match, students of different schools also presented special national songs.
Organized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority, Pakistan’s largest Shandur Polo Festival, organized in the beautiful Shandur Valley of Upper Chitral, started on July 7.
It should be noted that the Chitral team was declared the winner in the festival last year.
