Increase in diarrhea cases, the reason is the water supplied by the Water Board, Health Department

Diarrhea cases started increasing in Shedi Goth Ghadap Town of Karachi, 46 people reported diarrhea in 24 hours.

According to the provincial health department, diarrhea was reported in 46 people in the last 24 hours, while diarrhea was confirmed in 372 people since June 28.

The Health Department said that 3 patients are under treatment in Sindh Government Hospital Memongoth. People affected by diarrhea include women, children and the elderly.

The health department says that the cause of diarrhea is the water supplied by the water board, in which other harmful substances have also been identified besides lack of chlorine.
