Riyadh: A fire broke out in the warehouse of a company that provides various services to pilgrims in Makkah, as a result of which 2 people died and 6 were injured.
According to Arab media, the warehouse of the company that caught fire was providing services to pilgrims from African countries. This warehouse is located in the eastern area of the Arafat plain, where the tents and other goods of pilgrims from these countries were kept.
Two vehicles of the fire brigade reached the spot on the report of the fire. After two hours of struggle, the fire was brought under control. 8 people were shifted to hospital.
In the fire, 2 employees of the company died while 6 were injured, out of which the condition of two is said to be critical.
The identities of the dead and injured have not been disclosed.
It should be remembered that on May 20, 8 Pakistani Umrah pilgrims were killed and many injured in a fire in a hotel located on Ibrahim Khalil Road in Makkah.
