Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf has said that we wanted to bid farewell to Najam Sethi in a dignified manner.
The first meeting of PCB Management Committee was held in National Cricket Academy Lahore under the chairmanship of Zaka Ashraf.
National Cricket Academy Director National Cricket Academy Zakir Khan and other officers warmly welcomed Zaka Ashraf on his arrival. At the beginning of the meeting, all the members of the management committee unanimously expressed full confidence in Zaka Ashraf.
On this occasion, Zaka Ashraf issued strict instructions to bring transparency in the affairs of the Cricket Board and said that complaints of rigging in the elections of regions and associations will be resolved.
Zaka Ashraf said that transparent elections of regions and associations should be ensured.
He said that if players are given good facilities in domestic cricket, then good cricketers will come forward, facilities will be improved for cricket fans.
Besides, in the meeting, the Chief Finance Officer briefed the Management Committee on the PCB budget.
The chairman management committee was also briefed on important issues including reconstruction of stadiums, central contract of domestic players.
Addressing the meeting of PCB Management Committee, Zaka Ashraf said that I am grateful to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Asif Zardari, I will try to live up to their trust.
