Cricket legend Javed Miandad has claimed that his hand was behind Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s elevation to the Prime Ministership.
Javed Miandad recently appeared as a guest on a private TV show where he spoke about Imran Khan’s journey to becoming the Prime Minister.

Javed Miandad laughed in response to this question and said that there are some God-fearing people here, they should be called and thanked.
In response to another question, he said, “Yes, of course, I was present at the swearing-in ceremony but Imran Khan did not thank me for supporting him and it hurt me.”
He said that he used to listen to me, if I had supported him even today, he would not be in the condition he is in now.
He also said that if I could have made him the prime minister, I could have prevented his removal.
It should be remembered that Imran Khan was removed from the post of Prime Minister by the opposition in April last year by submitting a no-confidence motion against him and thus Imran Khan is the first Prime Minister of Pakistan who was removed from office with the help of a no-confidence vote.
