Afforestation campaign is going on in Tirah valley of Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province with the cooperation of forest department of Army and FC.
In 2022, 18,000 fruit trees and 1,72,000 other plants were distributed under the campaign in Khyber district.
36 fruit gardens were planted in Khyber district in 2022.
In 2023, 1 lakh 75 thousand plants, including fruit trees, have been distributed to 800 households in Khyber district.
New forests were planted in Khyber district using the modern technique of Miyawaki.
