Former Test cricketer Sarfraz Nawaz wrote a letter to former President Asif Ali Zardari, a copy of the letter has also been sent to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
In the text of the letter, Sarfraz Nawaz said that Najam Sethi’s colleagues are trying to create misunderstandings in the allied parties, while Najam Sethi was in power, PPP did not interfere in any matter.
The letter said that it is the best decision of Asif Zardari to nominate Zaka Ashraf as the chairman, cases were filed against Zaka Ashraf in the court for no reason.
It also said that the arrival of Zaka Ashraf will improve the game in Pakistan.
Sarfaraz Nawaz said in his letter that some members of the former management committee are following the instructions of Najam Sethi, trying to sabotage the election process of an organizer chairman of Islamabad.
It was written in the text that making Zaka Ashraf the chairman after Najam Sethi is the decision of the Prime Minister, which has to be respected. Zaka Ashraf is the nominee of the Prime Minister who should be respected by all.
