The government has decided to celebrate Holy Quran Day on Friday, July 7. In this regard, a meeting was held today in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
It was decided in the meeting that there will be a nationwide protest against the incident that happened in Sweden on Friday, July 7.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister of Pakistan appealed to the entire nation, including all parties, to participate in the protest.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the entire nation will be one language and give a message to the evil minds. On Friday, protest rallies should be held across the country to condemn the incident in Sweden.
He also decided to call a joint session of the Parliament on Thursday and directed that a national plan of action be made on the Sweden incident in the joint session of the Parliament. The sentiments of the nation should be fully expressed through the forum of Parliament.
The Prime Minister further directed that a joint resolution should be passed in the joint session of the Parliament.
He said that violent minds targeting religion, holy persons and beliefs are a threat to the peace of the world. The forces that believe in interfaith harmony at the global level should work to remedy such trends and incidents.
