Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has been met by 36 participating athletes of Sindh in the Special Olympics in Berlin.
On this occasion, Sindh Chief Minister said that necessary steps will be taken for the promotion of Special Olympics athletes, the Sindh government will construct a special ground for Special Olympics.
Murad Ali Shah said that I want to provide world class sports facilities for Special Olympics.
He announced the appointment of Ambassador Abid, a Special Olympic child, in the Chief Minister’s House, saying that Ambassador Abid is a cyclist and also works well in the IT sector.
On this occasion, Sindh Chief Minister was informed that Pakistan participated in 11 different sports in Berlin Special Olympics, these sports included athletics, badminton, basketball, hockey, table tennis, swimming and others.
According to the spokesperson of Chief Minister Sindh, the players of Special Olympics were dressed in green shirts and Murad Ali Shah met the players by going to their seats.
Chief Minister Sindh also encouraged the players by clapping for them.
It should be noted that the Pakistan team has won 10 gold, 29 silver and 40 bronze medals in the Special Olympics.
