The annual meetings of the International Cricket Council will be held from July 10 to 13.
According to the sources, the ICC meetings will be held in Durban, South Africa, in which important issues will be discussed, while the annual report and the future plan will also be discussed.
Sources say that the ICC will brief the members regarding the Champions Trophy 2025 to be held in Pakistan, while on the sidelines of the meetings, the PCB officials will meet with the officials of the member countries.
According to the sources, there will be discussions on the sidelines with the members of the ACC on the addition of Asia Cup matches and other issues.
In this regard, sources say that Pakistan will be represented by Acting Chairman Ahmed Shehzad Farooq Rana in the meetings.
Due to the delay in the election of PCB Chairman, the Election Commissioner is the Acting Chairman while COO Salman Naseer is likely to go to Durban along with the Acting Chairman.
In these meetings, the issues of the World Cup and next year’s T20 World Cup will also be discussed and a report on the infrastructure for the T20 World Cup matches in America will also be presented.
According to the sources, the future of the matches in America will be decided in the light of the infrastructure report.
It should be noted that the hosts of T20 World Cup 2024 are West Indies and USA.
