After heart diseases across Punjab, the facility of maternity treatment on health card was also stopped in private hospitals.
State Life Insurance Corporation (SLIC) has issued a notification to private hospitals regarding Health Card.
Through a letter, SLIC has directed the private hospitals of the health card panel to stop free maternity treatment.
The letter further said that the application of the letter to private hospitals of State Life Insurance is from July 1.
The post also states that State Life will not pay for normal delivery or C-section.
