A cholera outbreak in Mithi has revealed one death and many sick.
In this situation, a show cause notice has been issued to Medical Superintendent Civil Hospital Mithi for non-attendance.
The teams of Director General Health Sindh have issued a report after inspecting hospitals on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha across Sindh.
According to the Sindh Health Department, the medical superintendent was found absent from the hospital on the day of Eid-ul-Adha despite the outbreak of cholera and the emergency, for which a show-cause notice has been issued to him.
Similarly, show-cause notices have also been issued to the District Health Officers of Matiari, Jamshoro and Sajawal.
According to the Sindh Health Department, Khansaman, ward boys in the hospitals of Kotri and Matiari were found engaged in seeing traffic accident patients.
All officers have been directed to appear before Health Minister Dr. Ezra Pechuho and explain.
