105 people were arrested for disrupting the Eid cleaning operation in Lahore.

According to Express News, on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, Lahore, a crackdown is underway against those who burn incense on the streets, wash clothes in the canal and collect skins without a license.

Assistant Commissioner Model Town Sahibzada Yusuf arrested 32 people and referred them to the police, AC Raiwind Khurram Hameed 26 while AC Shalimar Sharina Janjua and AC City Wasiq Qayyum sent 16 and 16 people to jail.

AC Cant Muhammad Nartazi sent 15 people to jail while conducting an operation.

Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider said that the burning of kerosene causes pollution as well as stench. Action will be taken under zero tolerance policy.
