Lahore: Prime Minister’s son-in-law Haroon Yusuf got an extension of interim bail from the accountability court.
Prime Minister’s son-in-law Haroon Yusuf appeared in the accountability court after the interim bail in the money laundering reference expired, where his application for interim bail was heard.

During the hearing, NAB’s investigating officer said in a statement regarding the arrest that Haroon Yusuf’s arrest is not required. Under the old rules of NAB, Haroon Yusuf’s role was that of a nameless person. Under the new laws, there is no need to arrest Haroon Yusuf.
The investigating officer told the court that there is an arrest warrant for Haroon Yusuf, but the role of the accused has to be clarified under the new laws. A detailed report will be submitted in this regard on February 17.
The Accountability Court has extended the interim bail of Haroon Yusuf and Tahir Naqvi till February 17.
