Gilgit-Baltistan's 1 trillion 16 billion budget approved by majority vote

The budget of Gilgit-Baltistan for the fiscal year 2023-24 of 1 trillion 16 billion rupees was approved by majority vote.

In the budget of the new financial year, 74 billion rupees have been allocated for non-development expenditure and 28 billion rupees for development expenditure.

After the approval of the budget, Speaker Nazir Ahmed adjourned the session of the GB Assembly for an indefinite period.
