Pakistan suffered their third straight defeat in the South Asian Football Federation (SAF) Championship, this time defeating the national team 0-1 to get their first win in the event.
In the ongoing SAFF Cup football in Bengaluru, India, Pakistan team entered the field against Nepal in their last group match.
In the first half, both teams made attacks on each other’s goal, which were futile. The first half ended in a goalless draw.
In the second half, Nepal team seemed to dominate Pakistan. In this half, Pakistan also wasted many opportunities to score, taking advantage of which Nepal’s Ashish Chaudhary scored in the 80th minute to give the team a lead which was maintained till the end.
Pakistan crashed out of the event after losing all three matches in Group A, while the Nepalese team got their first win in the tournament.
