Pakistan cricket team will not travel to Mumbai in connection with the ICC Cricket World Cup scheduled in India. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has been informed about this.
Sources say that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has informed the ICC that Mumbai is not safe for Pakistan.
Sources said that Kolkata and Mumbai are the venues for the World Cup semi-finals. However, PCB says that in case of clash between Pakistan and India in the semi-final, the match should be held in Kolkata.
It should be noted that the ICC World Cup schedule will be announced tomorrow.
Sources said that three matches of Pakistan are likely to be scheduled in Kolkata, while the group match between Pakistan and India will be held in Ahmedabad.
