Punjab Assembly Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti was arrested from Matiari Bypass area of Sindh.
According to sources, at the time of arrest, Muhammad Khan Bhatti was going to Karachi in a car with his beloved.
SSP Matiari denied that Mohammad Khan Bhatti was taken into custody.
On the other hand, the police in Lahore raided the official residence of Muhammad Khan Bhatti and detained his employee.
According to the sources, the police team entered the house and also took the mobile phones from the employees.
Sources say that the police has detained the employee Nabil from the official residence of Mohammad Khan Bhatti.
Punjab Assembly employee Nabil was on duty at the house of Assembly Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti.
Sources further said that the police also took the CCTV video from the government house of Mohammad Khan Bhatti.
Earlier, former Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi said that Secretary Punjab Assembly Muhammad Khan Bhatti has been detained from Sindh.
Pervez Elahi, in a statement issued from Lahore, said that Muhammad Khan Bhatti was detained in Matiari area of Sindh.
