Former captain of Pakistan cricket team and analyst Rashid Latif has said that blind money is used in cricket elections.
Rashid Latif strongly criticized the political interference in cricket and said that nothing happens in the general election of the country which happens in the cricket election, the system of cricket in Pakistan will have to be corrected.
He said that in cricket there are elections at the lower level while the selection is at the top, the 2 names given for the chairman PCB have been selected.
Rashid Latif said that even at the lower level there are dummy elections, no cricketer is ever elected in these elections, why the president of Karachi, Lahore or any city is not a Test cricketer.
The former captain said that there are no cricketers in the governing board of PCB and cricket decisions are taken by those who are not related to cricket.
He said that cricketers are not brought forward in Pakistan, everyone wants the chair of PCB chairman, why don’t they go to other sports.
Rashid Latif said that why political interference only in cricket? Why not in sports like hockey, football and badminton? Why everyone wants to come to cricket is a matter of thought.
