Lahore: The scandal of illegally permanentizing and promoting 32 employees including 6 officers of Punjab Council of Arts came to light.

The employees were made permanent from the date of recruitment instead of the date of completion of the contract against the regulation law and 6 officers of the Punjab Council of Arts were also promoted to the next posts just a few days after being regularized.

According to the sources, Punjab Council of Arts Director Accounts and Finance Maqbool Ahmed Rana is among the officers who have been regularized and promoted. Director of Operations Mughith Bin Aziz, Divisional Director of Sahiwal Arts Council Riyaz Hussain are also among those promoted against the law.

According to the sources, Divisional Director Gujranwala Arts Council Ghulam Abbas and Divisional Director Bahawalpur Arts Council Sajjad Hussain were also promoted against the rules, Director Multan Arts Council Muhammad Saleem is also among the officers who were promoted against the law.

According to the sources, under the regularization policy, employees are regularized from the date of termination of contract, while 6 officers and 26 employees of Punjab Council of Arts were regularized from the date of recruitment instead of the date of termination of contract.

According to the sources, on the instructions of the Chief Secretary, the Secretary Information has completed the inquiry and sent the report to the Chief Secretary.
