Ahsan Ramzan of Pakistan won the Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship, Ahsan Ramzan defeated Iran’s Malad Pourali 2-5 in the final.
The Pakistani cueist won the first four frames, followed by the Iranian cueist who won two, before Ahsan outclassed his opponent in the seventh frame.
Ahsan won the decider 46-48, 5-70, 6-61, 29-62, 71-30, 67-55 and 27-101.
Ahsan Ramzan is the first Pakistani wicketkeeper to win the Asian Under-21 Championship, Farhan Mirza has played twice in the past while Haris Tahir and Majid Ali have played in the final once.
