The management of SAFF Cup has apologized for rescheduling the scheduled match between Pakistan and India in the SAFF Cup on Wednesday at the request of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF). The Pakistan team will have to be in action for the match within 12 hours of reaching Bangalore.
Pakistan football team could not reach Bangalore on time due to delay in getting Indian visa. The national team left Mauritius on Tuesday evening and will arrive in Bangalore at 8 am on Wednesday, where they will take the field for the match against India within hours of their arrival.
The Pakistan Football Federation had earlier requested the SAF Cup administration to reschedule the India-Pakistan match on Wednesday due to visa delays and logistical issues. He apologized for doing so and said that rescheduling one match could affect the entire tournament.
Earlier, the Pakistan football team was supposed to leave for Bangalore on Sunday morning but could not get the visas on time due to which the Pakistan team could not reach India as per the schedule.
