Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam shared the first picture from the Prophet’s Mosque after reaching Madinah to perform Hajj this year.
National team captain and number one batsman Babar Azam took to microblogging site Twitter and shared a picture with his fans from inside the premises of Masjid Nabawi along with his teammates Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed.
In the caption, he also penned a stanza of famous poet Iqbal Azam’s famous poem ‘Fasilan ko taklif hai hum se agar’, ‘As soon as the green dome is seen, the pattern of slavery will change’.
Thus, only Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed are seen in this picture.
However, in some other pictures and videos viral on social media, we can also see his teammates Fakhar Zaman, Faheem Ashraf and former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, who are among the lucky ones who got the blessing of Hajj this year.
The captain of the national team has not only taken his team but also his parents to perform Hajj.
It should be noted that the next few months for the players after the Hajj are busy, as the first two Test matches are scheduled in Sri Lanka and then the Lanka Premier League (LPL), Asia Cup and ODI World Cup are also expected this year.
