Sao Paulo: A powerful storm has wreaked havoc in Brazil’s southern state of Rio Grande do Sul, leaving 11 dead and 25 missing.
According to the World News Agency, due to the storm in Brazil, there were heavy rains in the Rio Grande do Sul and the flood channel entered the residential area, destroying everything in its path.
In Brazil, the town most affected by the storm was Cara, which has a population of 8,000. Scenes of destruction are everywhere in this occupation. 11 people died in the storm while 25 are missing.
The population affected by the storm and flood have been moved to a safe place. 2 thousand 400 relief camps have been established. Landslide incidents have also been reported from many areas.
Dead bodies are being found during rescue operations. A search operation is underway to find the missing persons.
It should be noted that deadly floods are common in Brazil and have wreaked havoc for decades.
