Chairman PTI urged his sister-in-law to join the investigation, anti-corruption

Lahore: The anti-corruption establishment of Punjab has said that PTI chairman should insist on investigation involving his sister and brother-in-law.

Responding to the allegations of the former prime minister, the spokesperson of Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab said that the allegations against the chairman PTI’s sister and brother-in-law are based on facts. Chairman PTI cannot deny the truth by false accusations or bad language.

According to the spokesperson, Anti-Corruption has never said that Uzma Khan bought any land in November 2021. The fact is that Zamin died in March 2022, when Chairman PTI was the Prime Minister. In November 2022, the beneficial owners applied to the Justice of the Peace for forcible eviction.

In the petition, the real owners requested to file a case against Uzma Khan and her husband. The owners alleged that Uzma Khan and her husband Ahad Majeed were forcibly evicting them from the land they owned. The Justice of the Peace ordered a case to be registered in favor of the owners and against Uzma Khan and her husband. Chairman PTI is advised to insist that his sister and brother-in-law be included in the investigation in the case registered in the anti-corruption department.

According to the spokesperson, if PTI chairman’s sister and brother-in-law have any evidence in their defense, they should present it before the investigation team. Anti-corruption will continue to take indiscriminate actions against corrupt elements.
