Lahore: Progress has been revealed in the case related to the recovery of Imran Riaz in the High Court.
The hearing on the petition filed regarding the recovery of senior journalist Imran Riaz was held in the Lahore High Court, in which IG Punjab and other officers appeared before the court. In his reply, IG Punjab said that now we are going in the right direction, good results will come.
During the hearing, Imran Riaz’s lawyer told the court that we have appeared before the working committee, IG Punjab has assured that we are trying. The Chief Justice inquired whether you are satisfied with the efforts of the working committee. To which the lawyer replied that we need the recovery of Imran Riaz, for which his team including IG Punjab is working.
The lawyer said that we hope that the police will be able to recover Imran Riaz soon. The Chief Justice remarked that we are also praying and trying for the life of Imran Riaz. Later, the court gave 10 days more time to the police to recover Imran Riaz.
