The Islamabad Healthcare Authority has written to all hospitals in the city and ordered them to provide health facilities to HIV patients.
The healthcare authority has said that not all private hospitals are treating HIV positive patients, all hospitals should provide treatment to HIV patients like other patients.
In the letter, the healthcare authority has said that it is ready to provide technical support to the hospitals in this regard.
Health Care Authority officials say that major private hospitals in Islamabad have promised to admit HIV patients.
Officials also said that HIV patients should contact the authority for complaints, the identity of the complainant will be kept confidential.
