Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has received Rs 2.5 crores to go to India for participation in the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy so that news like non-payment of daily allowance to the players during the tour does not come out. This check of two and a half crores was given by the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB).
Pakistan Hockey Federation needed funds to prepare for the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy and send the team to India, which was provided by the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB).
A check of 25 million was given to PHF by PSB, this check was given on the special instructions of Inter-Provincial Coordination Minister Ihsan Mazari and Director General (DG) PSB Shoaib Khosa.
PHF Secretary General Haider Hussain received the special check of the grant issued by the Government of Pakistan from the Pakistan Sports Board.
On this occasion, he expressed special gratitude to the Government of Pakistan, Minister of Inter-Provincial Co-operation, Ehsanur Rahman Mazari and Director General of Pakistan Sports Board, Shoaib Khoso.
He said that on the request of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, a special grant has been issued by the Pakistan Sports Board to make arrangements for Pakistan’s participation in the Asian Champions Trophy.
Pakistan Hockey Federation strives for the betterment of the national game and the strong representation of Pakistan at the international level.
Representation of Pakistan in international events sent by PHF and the recent outstanding performance of the team has not only been appreciated by the hockey fans, but the Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination and PSB have also issued special grants to Pakistan Hockey.
